I start Firefox and FB start like it should but direct it goes over to ,http://search.babylon.com/?babsrc=TB_def&q=check6only.facebook.comajax%2Fv6.php%3Fv%3Dcheck6only%26pingonly%3Dfalse,and when i click home page goes over to FB but back again to tha other

I recently updated to Firefox 15.0.1, and I'm having a lot of trouble with it constantly freezing. This doesn't happen on any one website and is very random in occurrence. I have already tried running in safe mode and updated flash, and I'm still having the problem. After a few seconds, it may start responding again however, most of the time it continues to hang. In order to close Firefox when this happens, I have to open task manager and end the process because nothing in the browser responds. This has become very annoying, and I would appreciate any help I can get to solve the issue. Thanks!

UPDATE: I've noticed that the freezing seems to happen every time I check my email (Yahoo & Gmail), and when I'm on Pandora. It still occurs randomly at other times, but I noticed it's very consistent with these sites.

Running Java 7, FF 15.0.1. When opening most web site, the following pops up: Java error: catch after unconditional catch. What is this? And, how to repair Java? This has been happening for the past several days. Thanks...

My firefox version is: 15.0.1. I can go to the Google's gmail page, but can't log in. I was asked:

"Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on. [?]". I follow the direction to turn cookies on. It is already on, but still can't log in since I got above message again. Why?

since ff 15.0.1 update ( today) netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege("UniversalXPConnect") does not ask for the privilege anymore ... Is the xpcom interface outdated ?

I want my TABS below the addres bar, there is no option for "tabs on top" anymore and I simply want them below the address bar. My y580 still has the tabs below but my asus g75vw has the tabs on top and the tabs on top" option is not there. WHat can I do?

I've tried clearing all my history, cookies, and everything else on Firefox, but it doesn't fix the problem.

Whenever I try to comment on a post in facebook it says "Unable to post comment." And it won't let me like any posts either.

Google Chrome works perfectly with Facebook. I don't want to quit using Firefox, but unless I get a solution soon that may be what I have to do.

I've used Firefox for years now. I like it. But the new version (15.0.1) loads some webpages soooo slowly, I'm ready to move one to Chrome or another browser. IMy first preference is to stick with Firefox, but I haven't found any solutions to my dilemma. Tried a solution posted (clear cookies and cache) which only gave me more problems. Don't know why that solution every go posted. Tried some possible solutions involving changing setup via about:config which didn't do anything one way or another. Disabled all of my plugins, which didn't do any good. Currently, I'm only running Flash. Website in question loads much better in Chrome. As I said before, my first preference is to stick with Firefox, but if I can't find I way to load finviz.com fast, I'm gone. Anyone have similar problems and hopefully, answers? Thanks for your time

PDF files not downloaded or displayed i Firefox in version 15.0.1. A white blank page is just displayed. This is reported back to me from many users and not just on my computer.

from a while i accepted by mistake on some certificate that allowed ads to be in every site i log on. The ads under the name (Ads not by this site). I tried the malware and the ordinary antivirus but nothing work. And i really want to get rid of it. thanks

I am getting the following error message: FlashPlayerPlugin_11_4_402_265.exe - Application Error The instructino at 0x71a30000 referenced memory at 0x71a30000. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program.

For some webpages, clicking ok will cause the error msg to disappear. For most, such as Amazon pages, the error msg will loop, i.e. I click on OK, then the box pops up again.

This started immediately w/ the latest release, Firefox 15.0.1. I uninstalled and re-installed the plug-in, to no avail. I'm running Win 8, Would it be better to roll-back the Firefox version or the Adobe Flash version? Seems like I should roll back Firefox, b/c the Adobe was running fine until the Firefox update. However, the std. Firefox advice is not to roll back. I need to change something, or switch to Chrome or Opera.

I updated java and ended up with snap.do as my search engine and home page. I researched it and found nothing good about it, a typical malware program that isn't picked up by CCleaner for some reason. It is easily uninstalled in chrome and IE but for some reason Firefox resists efforts to uninstall it. It doesn't show up in programs to uninstall, how can it be uninstalled along with all it's components and why does Firefox aid in its destructive methods by making its removal so difficult?

When I go to shopping sites such as Amazon, Ebay etc, and when I hover over a picture a "save as deal finder" pop up appears and I cannot remove this. I have searched on the net and cannot find any threads for this issue.

I'm stuck with Babylon as a homepage. I used REVO to remove the toolbar but something in the process must have gone wrong because the homepage keeps coming back. I cleaned the About:config as stated in earlier posts (mstone, homepage and new tab) and when I restart Firefox the first tab is firefox and the second babylon. When I close and startup firefox again then the first tab is babylon and I'm back to square one. The removal of the browser manager seemd too technical to me and I didn't dare to do it. Any suggestions?

Videos from youtube, facebook, or other sites won't play. Quizzes from a learning site won't work. All play fine in Explorer. I have updated flash and java. I have disabled my add-ons.

When a video is supposed to play, I either get a screen that won't load OR....an error message saying to try again later. In youtube, I see all the thumbnail videos on the side, but can't play anything.

Starting yesterday when using Flash Video Downloader in Firefox 15.0.1 running on a 2011 MacBook Pro running OS X 10.7.4 I started getting the following dialog box when I attempt to download any video from YouTube.

Youtube Cookie Trouble To continue download from youtube you have to clear youtube cookies. Do you want to clear Youtube cookies right now?

When I click the button for Flash Video Downloader in the menu bar I get this dialog box immediately and clearing cookies makes no difference, the problem persists and I can't begin a download. If I use the button at the lower left of the browser I can get Flash Video Downloader to put up the full window but all of the videos appear to be N/A, and don't show their size. If I click the Download button in that window nothing happens and in the Firefox download window the file is 0 kb in size.

This only happens on YouTube now and not other sites I frequent. It also behaves exactly the same on older Macs running older versions of Firefox and older versions of OS X. I have searched for the last day and can't find one single reference to this dialog box or this problem. Has anybody else seen this problem firsthand?

I noticed this problem two days ago.

Whenever I access 'https://www.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm' or 'https://pcdaopune.gov.in', the status bar or whatever it is called displays the message 'Connecting to i.wxdjs.info...'. When I move my mouse over it, the message shifts from the bottom left corner to the bottom right and vice versa.

Is it safe or has my computer been compromised?

Please advise. Thanks
