I've upgraded to the latest firefox, and now Plugin Container is back :(

Please help me put it back to just the one "firefox.exe" process that i've had it set to since Version 3.

Whenever I access any "tab", enters "22find portal de sites" link as starting page. How can I delete this ? The "Start Icon" > Search does not find anything. (Sorry for poor english - portuguese is my language.

I'm running Firefox 14.0.1 on Mountain Lion (yes, the final official version), with the 'Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar'.

When I enter full screen mode, my bookmarks bar completely disappears. Any way to fix this?

I have ads from a http://clkads.com this seem to be a browser hijacker. I see this ads either or facebook on the side banners, in between search box and categories on ebay. I've notice that if you disable flash it does not show anymore, but well, I need flash. I have checked my pc for virus and it is clean. I have the latest Norton 360 6.0 version I have a fast HP Envy17 3D laptop, with and I7 and solid HD running on Win 7 64b. I have not noticed my pc slowing down, but I am sick of the ads and adobe flash is constantly crashing, something I never happen before.

I have found some websites claiming to clean it, but I do not feel confident downloading software I don't know, also installed add-ons to block but still they filter.

There is no information either here or on the Norton DB.

Hope some one can help me and or some one else to remove this annoying ads.

Ever since updating to 14.0.1 (perhaps an earlier 14), I have not been able to post or even "like" items on Facebook. I can read pages just fine, but am not able to input anything. I get a page from Facebook that says, oops something is not working etc.

However, if I shift to IE, everything works just fine. This is happening on multiple computers. Two are running Win7, two XP, all NIS 2012 and all had no problems using FB with firefox in the past.

Heya!!! As probably with everyone my Adobe Flash 11.3 crashes continuously and the recommendation is to downgrade to v10. Does anyone know if a fix is coming soon so we don't have to download?

Also, for the population out there that uses Thunderbird, what are your thoughts and comments on it?

when i open firefox it displays a blank white screen with the words "no site configured at this address". what does this mean and how can i fix this? i tried reinstalling firefox and cleared cache. it used to display my yahoo homepage. it wont now unless i type in to address bar.

When Amazon UK site loads, error message received that additional plugins required to display all the media on the page. Java and Flash have been updated and all other plugins updated but the problem is not resolved. When I click install plugins a message is returned that no suitable plugins found. Browser has been closed and re started many times. Any ideas please? Many thanks

FF14 is crashing randomly after every 15 minutes. Is this problem a general problem after updating from FF13. All plugins are up to date. No virus on system. Does any one have any solutions?

How can I change the mandatory/default https google search. I like to make decisions for myself, not have software companies try to think for me. That is why, before now, I have loved Firefox.

I had tried to change my default search engine to no avail. Had read a lot from the help file but it seems none of the recommendations had work. The problem is in the upper right hand corner search box where the default as of now (the search engine when I open firefox for the first time) is Yahoo. I had tried to change this to goggle by clicking the drop down arrow and select a new search engine but does not take effect. Yahoo is still in effect as the search engine in spite of making the change. I had also followed the advise of some to change the default engine by typing "about:config" in the address bar and reset some values but yet after closing and opening firefox again, Yahoo is still the default search and could not be change by selecting in the drop down list of the search.

Ever since I updated to 14.0.1 I have been having problems with this. As of right now, even this website is currently being forced https. My friend is also having the exact same problem as me, so it isn't just a single problem here. (However it could be two)

Can anyone help me here? Happens on pretty much all websites, cannot put just one site.

Hi. I'm using Firefox 14.0.1, and recently developed an issue that is extremely frustrating. Two particular websites which I visit often are behaving irregularly. In the first case, on Facebook, when I login and my main page loads, the icons in the top left (friends, messages, and notifications) are not "clickable," that is to say that clicking on them no longer brings up the windowpane that corresponds with them. On another website, Battlelog.com, certain images do not load and instead are replaced with oversized text. I have tried clearing my cache and history in Firefox, turning on and off extensions one by one, running in safe mode, etc. but none of these solutions have helped.

I finally tried running Firefox in private browsing mode. These websites now work perfectly. I cannot explain it, as the URLs for each are identical. If there is anyone who could offer advice on settings or changes I could make so that Firefox will work properly with these sites in default browsing mode, it would be most greatly appreciated.

Firefox disabled my Roboform toolbar. Then Firefox auto-updated to v 14.0.1 I downloaded the latest version of Roboform for Firefox (7.7.9.9) It installs o.k. and the collapsed version of the Roboform toolbar appears. However, as soon as I attempt to use Roboform it crashes Firefox and Firefox restarts with Roboform disabled.

After updating to Firefox 14.0.1 , I can no longer download files with Internet Download Manager. The program works fine on other browsers, so I assume that I just need to reinstall it or something. If anyone could explain this to me and tell me how to solve it, I'd really appreciate it.

this morning I updated my firefox to 14.01. after that one of my extension i.e firebug just stopped working at all, I mean I couldn't even find the icon in my browser. I even tried to go to tools>addons> but you know what, even that page is not responding it keeps on loading no results at all. Please can anyone please help me out this cause I'm the middle of my project I really need this firebug. plsss
