Twitter, Livejournal, Grooveshark, my iGoogle homepage, hotmail, various writing/poetry sites... I have all of them saved to my bookmarks toolbar for quick access -- just click and go. Then I updated to Firefox 10 and now nothing stays signed in! I was told to clear my cache (and I did). I was told to clear my cookies (and I did). I don't know what else to do. At first I thought it might have been because Google is changing their privacy policy but then after trial and error, I'm finding that Firefox is the only browser this happens in. Opera keeps me logged in as does Safari but considering I'm not thrilled with either of them, I'd like for someone to help me fix what is going on with Firefox. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Firefox 10. I recently switched from XP to Win 7, clean install. When I used to open Firefox there was a black bar across the top with links to Maps, Gmail etc. Don't have it now. Also there used to be a link to Hotmail in on of the tool bars, that's missing too. How do I get these back?

When this website - TREASURY.DIRECT@pbd.treas.gov - sends me a message, it shows up as Junk Email. When I click this, it states this message was marked as spam using the Outlook Junk Email filter. How can I get these messages to go to my Email inbox instead of to Junk Email?

This is software that I did not know had been installed on my computer (or when), and I am concerned that it is malware.

If it is legitimate software then what is its purpose, and why was I not asked if I wished to install it?

Example addons that are currently working include no-script and downloadthemall. Both addons are working but do not show up under extensions. I can only see my plugins, such as java, realplayer, shockwave etc. It's very annoying when trying to acess my addons to constantly be taken to the "Get Addons" page.

I have the latest flash plug-in installed from adobe's website.

Flash isn't working. It's not showing up on my list of installed plug-ins.

Checking all my plug-ins for updates, firefox tells me "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version."

Looking at my .mozilla/firefox/<snip>/pluginreg.datfile, there is an entry for it: [INVALID] /usr/lib64/flash-plugin/libflashplayer.so:$ 1320112563000:$

This plug-in works fine under 3.6.26.

I have tried removing that line from the file, uninstalled and reinstalling the rpm, but I get the exact same results every time

Not only does firefox not show images, but also won't play audio online. Also my hotmail seems messed up, with text over text etc. It doesn't even show images on the firefox pages

I updated Firefox last night, and now the location bar is not working. If I click on a full link after typing in part of it (e.g. fac brings up www.facebook.com) it doesn't connect; neither does hitting "enter" after typing in an address (with or without http://) connect me. The only way to connect to a site is to click my home button, or to click the "go" arrow at the end of the bar. This is incredibly annoying! What can I do about it?

It's quite simple. I have a Canadian English dictionary installed on Firefox, but whenever I set it to that dictionary, it will be back to en-US when Firefox restarts. This did not used to be a problem, it kicked in only a month or so ago. Before then, it was permanently on en-CA.

I've seen a few questions on this site talking about all preferences not saving, which is not the case, and some talking about some preferences not saving if you have a user preferences file, which I don't. It's really just the dictionary thing. Any information to keep this switched to Canadian would be appreciated.

For some reason,I am seeing multiple copies of bookmarks for the same site,and lately they seem to multiply like rabbits.Is there a way to select all the duplicates,and erase in one go? Thanks!

Firefox just updated itself to 10.0.1 and it has changed this. I used to just type twitter.com or amazon.com and the page loads. When I do this now, absolutely nothing happens. Even if I type the full address: https://twitter.com nothing happens. There isn't even an error message. If I go to google search, and then click on the page, it goes to it with no problem.

What is a pain is that it still has my history of frequently visited pages, but I can't use it now.

I'm sure there must be a setting which changed on Firefox, because this still works perfectly well with Chrome, but I can't find the correct setting.

my computer gets unexpectedly shutdown while i was logged in my gmail and facebook account and when restarted my system and opened facebook and gmail ,i found that i was logged in.This is when i have unchecked 'password remember' option and keep me logged in option .How to solve it ?

I was doing nothing in particular when I realized everything was text only with no graphics. When I opened the same page in Safari - happened to be gmail - the page appeared as it should with graphics. Text only is appearing on all sites opened in FF

When trying to access Live Chat, a message appears "There was an error checking the queue." I have seen this for quite some time so I know it is not an intermittent issue. A link appears underneath this message "You can try starting a chat session." When I click this I am brought to a blank page with the title "Leave A Message." What is going on? Even at the bottom of the Contact Us page there is mention of live chat under Technical support.

I need to open the web-page in a window of a certain size. The javascript function window.resizeTo (w, h) does not work. If I open the window using the window.open ("", "", "width: w, height: h, ..."), there is another problem. The hyperlinks that have to be opened in a new tab in the same window or at least in the window of the same size, will open in another tab of the first window from which I called window.open(). I do not know what it is, bug or as intended, but the normal full-featured window with the right size I cannot get.

In Russian: Мне нужно открыть страницу в окне определенных размеров. Из консоли Firebug с помощью javascript пробовал window.resizeTo(w,h) - не работает. Если открывать окно с помощью window.open("", "", "width:w, height:h, ..."), то возникает другая проблема: ссылки, которые должны окрываться в новой вкладке в том же окне или хотя бы в окне того же размера, открываются в другой вкладке первого окна, из которого я выполнял команду window.open(), которое неправильного размера. Не знаю, что это. Баг или так задумано. Но открыть нормальное полноценное окно с нужными размерами не получается никак.

Firefox keeps trying to update every time I open the browser, and it then puts up a message saying update was unsuccessful. It does this on both of my computers. One already has the latest version, the other does not. How do I stop Firefox from doing this?

The taskbar is okay on desktop, but when I activate firefox and enter the web-page, the taskbar is gone. Everything on the page is ok except for the missing taskbar which is usually at the bottom of the screen. Can work sites ok, but miss the advantage of being able to switch pages, activate, minimize, etc.

i know to solve this problem by going about:config and to correct it,but i want to know whether is there any other way to block this dialog box. How all the user of my application will follow that ?
