Whenever I open a new tab, the page goes to http://isearch.babylon.com/?babsrc=NT_FFUP. How do I keep google my default page when opening new tabs?

Owner AnonymousUser 1 year ago Several tried to but no one seemed to understand the real problem. I COULD, because it was mine too. So it follows the only ultimate solution:
1. Open Firefox 2. On the address bar, type – about:config in the URL. Press Enter. 3. You will be warned about Warranty. Click on “I’ll be careful…”
4. On the Filter dialog box type – search.conduit 5. It will display all related entries. Right-click on Preferences Name and Reset. It worked for me, after trying a dozen of "fake" solutions. ;)
Other than serious chainsaw work, any ideas?

I have spell check enabled in Tolls>option>advanced Also if I go to tool menu bottom oprion is now shown as "Check Spellings"
However it does not work -example Thid speeling is nut corrcreted
If I 'right click' in this window it does show check spelling as "ticked", just does not work.
Not sure if relevant but spelling works fine in Thunderbird.

I've tried everything, uninstalling, reinstalling, installing older versions of Firefox, everything in the help file about this, going into about:config to set scanning to false, uninstalling my virus program (avast), etc.
They only thing I didn't try is restore points because they didn't go back far enough.
What could this possibly be? The moment the download finished it's absolutely gone.

After upgrading to FF10 from 3.6.26, all websites are rendered very small. (Win7, screen resolution 1920 x 1080, with appropriate OS font settings.) All applications except for the browser appear just fine.
It is necessary to manually zoom each web page to make it readable. Also, FF10 elements themselves appear very small. For example, the icons in the bookmarks toolbar are so tiny it's difficult to see them, and the close-tab button is so miniscule that very precise mouse positioning is essential to make it operate.
IE doesn't do this, nor did FF 3.6.26. IE seems to render a website in proportion to the available screen real estate, and FF 3.6.26 was perfect! Why not FF10?
Is FF10 just a browser for smaller screens then? Will there be an updated version that solves this problem?
TOO QUIET! Watching videos online in Firefox are so quiet on my speakers and headphones now. I thought it was a problem with my hardware but internet explorer and itunes are perfectly loud. How do I fix this?

Now, the name appears in the bar, but I have to go over to the end of the bar and click on the arrow to actually go to the page.
