I use explorer mostly. When they updated their last time, I came across problems with company website not able to accept the update. so, I then use Firefox without any problem. Until it's trying to update. I don't want this company website to stop working with another update until some site won't work I don't want the update!!! explorer has always had these issues I don't want to have Firefox have the same issue!!! My argument has nothing to do with your Firefox it's explorer causing me to go else-ware and I can't afford to loose access!!

I am trying to uninstall Firefox 20 and get the newest version which I think is version 21? It will not let me unistall it when I go to the start menu and hit on unistall a program and then choose Firefox. It shows, " Please wait while firefox is unistalling," but it never uninstalls. The green bar never moves. I tried to uninstall it manually and then install firefox 21 but then firefox 20 came back up (after I installed the new version) with all my saved data. It looked like it did before I uninstalled it manually, or thought I did. I don't want any of my data. Just a fresh page!
I just want the firefox startpage, no google, yahoo, etc... I can't figure this out. Apparently, i am more technically challenged than previously thought!

I really need an answer otherwise I will just move on to another browser and not bother with Firefox anymore. My problem is; Mozilla download page sees my mac and only allows me to download a mac version. A choice before downloading a version might be nice. How can he access the net without a browser.

I made the mistake of upgrading to firefox 21 from 20. Now every time I start firefox , it checks for plugin compatibility and then when it does start, it opens 2 tabs. One is my home page and the other is the page congratulating me for upgrading and wants me to sign up for crap I don't want. Also, I have to check the box to block popups every time I start firefox.

I have just upgraded to Firefox 17 and found that Norton 360 "Login Assistant" (formally named Identity Safe) no longer works. It does not fill in the username and password fields. It worked very well and did all the right things when I was using Firefox 16. There is probably a quick fix but in the meantime I have had to revert to version 16. Looking forward to the problem being resolved.

Sigh. There is such a cacophony of solutions to fix Java install problems that even a savvy user becomes lost. The last solution posted for Java install problems relates to Java v7 u10. The solution doesn't even indicate the version of Firefox they're running. This is March 2013. The last solution was posted Sept. 2012.
Frankly, I'm very, very disappointed. I love Firefox -- but someone has dropped / is dropping the ball on this one.

Even if I try to instal this latest version again I've get the message that I already have the latest version. The same problem was with Flashplayer where I installed the latest version but three days Firefox asked to update the plugin. The last one is now ok but Java Platform and Java Deployment Kit is hopeless. Why it ask for an update if there is none? What should or can I do? I always be careful and patch my pc if necesserry.
