When I install the latest version of Flash Player(11.6.602.171), I get a firefox plugin. Why am I not receiving the Flash Player instead? OS is vista home premium, firefox v.18

For the last few days my Firefox does not display the downloads window. I have tried to follow the suggestion set out in Firefox Help ie Tools --> Options --> General

But my General Tab doesn't show under Downloads the option to check the box "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file". Under Downloads, the only option shows "save files to Downloads" and "Always ask me where to save files".

Any suggestions on how I can get to --> Downloads the option to check the box "Show the Downloads window when downloading a file".

I was just auto-upgraded to Firefox 20.0, and what had been an orderly, cascading context menu is now a flat, broken menu that's so big it scrolls off the top and bottom of my screen. The cascading submenus have been crammed into the top layer, and many of those options are now broken. Furthermore, options/menus that had been, well, context-sensitive (that is, they only appeared in certain circumstances) are now always-on. For instance, right-clicking on a link gives me the link-related options I'd expect, but it also gives me irrelevant media-control (Play, Pause, etc.) and image-related (View, Reload, Copy location) options.

I really dislike the "new" 20.bla-bla-bla version of FF because of the download window that appear in library window (wtfFF) and the colorful file system icons in it. SO I want to get back my "old" 19.0.2... Is this possible in therms of the structurаl differences mentioned above in the v.20?

I know about the site where I can find the exact version I need for downgrade with, but can I just run the setup without saving any data... just like when upgrading?

Please answer my question and let me know how to downgrade 20 to 19.0.2...

I wonder if anyone knows the way to roll back from an update in Firefox? I do not wish to remove and re-install if it's possible just to roll back. I am using Windows 7 Pro and the "about Firefox" says I have 19.0 installed. The update causing the problem went in on 19/03/2013. Hope someone can help. Regards. G

I just got notice this morning about this new version of Firefox but I'm hesitant to install until I know that my Norton toolbar will work. Can you provide some information? Thanks!

Many functions are not working since the upgrade, including downloads of several varieties. I am not interested in spending time applying fixes -- I want to revert to v19, but can't seem to find the url to download it. Can someone direct me?

My device has Android version 2.1 (eclair). Unfortunately there's no update available for my device, even in future. I would consider you as a top developer if you could optimize your browser to support my mobile device. And I know you won't, because as a developer it's very difficult to work on older versions of android, and who has got time for that. Really, I made a worst choice in selecting my mobile handset.

I just updated my browser to version 21.0 and in doing so 'lost' some of my most frequently used search engines. A look into the searchplugins folder revealed that all previously listed OpenSearch Description files are gone except those of the search engines I'm missing. Trying to reinstall some of them, I realize most of the missing search engines are for sites that themselves do not provide them like http://www.wikimindmap.org and http://www.goodreads.com so I must have gotten them form third-party sides but in previews versions they just worked fine.

Supposedly my tablet cannot download from the google play market due to the fact that it looks for cell numbers first to download to and I have an android phone and it wants to download to that and not my tablet. Therefore, I need an alternate site in which to download FFox to my tablet. I hope there is one and fast!

The download panel window does not ever display anymore, when downloading updates, i.e. Adobe, etc. There is a little notice at the bottom of the screen that says downloads are complete, but then it disappears. I have to manually go to the download folder to look for the update and run it. Very annoying.

I have looked around for a solution, but no one seems to have this problem.

I Just updated from 17.xx to 18.0.2 yesterday. Today when I logged onto my computer, Firefox icons were gone from my desktop and when I find and run Firefox directly from the mozilla firefox directory, my bookmarks , homepage, and other settings are all gone! WTF?!?

Additional info, I'm using an SSD as my boot/program drive and had altered F to use my data drive (D) for temporary cache files. I'm guessing it has something to do with this, but seriously... no reason it should.

Downloads for a Windows machine are Easy to install. Downloads for a Linux machine aren't easy to install. If said downloads where made available as a.deb package they (from a computer user's standpoint) would become just as easy to install. A.deb package is one of four ways that Linux installs downloads and in my humble opinion is the easiest. Otherwise I am forced to wait for the latest Firefox to become available in the "Package Manager". Currently using Linux Mint Nadia>

i would to get yahoo, back as my home page. I tried changing it, per mozilla instructions . It did not work. Per mozilla support I am to uninstall "babylon toolbar". I checked control panel no babylon listed as be installed. My question is there another name for the 'babylon toolbar?

Previously when i install this exact same animated lighting overload add-ons some time ago,it have been working fine then i change the appearance to something else which is not animated and after some time i change to another animated APNG-Sasuke Uchiha 2 add-ons and found out this problem so i thought is only this add-on problem and decided to try out lighting overload add-ons again to see whether it's moving or have the same problem but it have the same problem then it must not be the add-ons problem anymore.
