The Norton toolbar and the last Firefox i had worked fine together, however, when i updated Firefox, as the information was transferring, it told me that I could no longer use the Norton toolbar because they weren't compatible. It said this even though both of them are updated.

I need to be able to dynamically slow down (throttle) the speed with which my firefox downloads content. There are thousands of google links to an extension that seems to do exactly what I want: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5917/ However this is now a dead link. Why?

Every single YouTube video will crash Adobe Flash, regardless of browser. I've gone from Firefox 3.6, to the beta/minefield? version of Firefox 4, and i've even tried Chrome. Regardless of browser, it will crash Adobe Flash. As you can understand this problem is exceptionally frustrating to me as my desktop computer has Firefox 3.6, with the same extensions and adobe flash installed with no issue whatsoever.

I have no changed anything to my system except for installing Microsoft Silverlight which I thought would've been the problem but sadly it didn't fix my issue after an uninstallation and cleaning of any registry entries with CCleaner.

I am currently on a clean install of firefox 4 with flash. It still crashes. I have no made any changes to my system. As far as I understand Adobe Flash has not updated their software within the last week, and if it has, my desktop computer has been regularly updating itself with no issues whatsoever.

Had Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300 and it stopped showing videos, etc. in Firefox a few days ago. Now I've installed v 11.4 r402 and it still gives error message "Adobe Flash Player ... has stopped working." I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled -- with the same result. No videos. Firefox Plugin check page shows it installed correctly. Any solutions?

I downloaded Bandoo emoticons and it loaded "searchqu" search engine and it is now the one being used on Firefox homepage. I prefer Google which it was . I tried to change it,disable it,uninstall it and I tried uninstalling Bandoo. But I can't get rid of it.It doesn't show up as Searchqu in my computer programs and I can't find it there. It was in my Firefox add-ons which is where I uninstalled it from. How do I get rid of it?

I checked my plug-in and was told the Google Earth Plugin was outdated. I clicked on the "Update" option but nothing happened. Usually when I clicked on that option, it'll open the developer's website so I can proceed the update. But this one just sat there and nothing happened. So how could I update this plug-in?

I use to have the measurit add and have now reinstalled it. It doesn't come up on the bar along the bottom. I have picker and it works. I have been through the Tools-Addon and it is installed. How do I get this to show up so I can use this great addon. Thanks

recently I've tried to updated my browser with new one firefox 8.0 beta 3 and also java console being updated either but the problem is the java console is disable for no reason it said it not compatible with the browser I think that all my problem

Flash does work fine in Safari, so it seems to be just beta 7 that has this problem. I don't see any extensions that might be blocking flash (and haven't installed anything new between beta 6 and 7), but I will try a testing profile shortly.

Looking over the release notes, I don't see anything particularly specific to this. Possibly WebGL is interfering, or the new accelerated rendering that went in? I'm not sure how to go about checking if either of those caused the problem.

Ever since I installed Avg free 2012 I have been forced to put up with Avg isearch appearing on every single page which I did not have previously I absolutely hate when something is imposed on me and I think it it totally unfair that I dont have the final say on whether I want it or not. I would appreciate it very much if your team could provide a solution to this problem as I cannot find one myself. I have tried to remove this several ways none of which worked. I have disabled the addon, uninstalled Avg free 2012, went through the Avg settings and disabled linkscanner and all of its settings and I am still stuck with it. I would have asked Avg to help but you can only get help from avg if you have a paid version of Avg and besides Avg is probably benefiting in some way. Can anyone suggest a solution...I cannot get Veetle to work on Firefox 4.0

Any channel will stick at loading and when I try and push the power button on the player I get an error message saying "Internal plugin error"

I have tried a different browser and can get Veetle to work without any problems.

I have manually removed the following veetle plugins and reinstalled them:

Veetle TV Core 0.9.18.0 Veetle TV Player 0.9.18.0

but am still experiencing the same problem.

I think it has something to do with the Adobe update I just installed. Internet Explorer works fine still, so I think it is a problem with Firefox. the realplayer downloader downloaded mp3's and then converted them to copy on the ipod. When Firefox updated to Firefox 5, a pop up said that realplayer add-on was incompatable... so now when my mp3 is playing I don't know how to get it to itunes so I can get it to the ipod.

Netflix on demand video was playing properly in Firefox 4 beta 6 but no longer works in the later betas. When attempting to play a movie I get a message which says "Thanks for Installing once installation is complete, please restart your browser to watch this movie". I can still watch in Chrome and in Opera (masked as Firefox). Silverlight is up to date and I can see it in the Firefox plugins menu. Does anyone know why or how to fix this? Any answers would be fun thanks!

I have updated to firefox 4. Several plugins do not work such as McAfee Security but Windows Media Player plugin does not work. I have uninstalled firefox 4 and Media Player plugin. I reinstalled everything but the Media Player plugin failed again. The screen just remains blank. The blank screen occurs when testing Media Player using the Mozilla test link. I would like to go back to firefox 3.6 since I cannot use firefox 4 with all the problems but I cannot find any archived versions.

I tried to install Moonlight plugin version 3.9.9 (4 preview) on the latest version of Firefox. Error message is: "Novell Moonlight could not be installed because it is not compatible with with Firefox 6.0.2". There isn't any versions of Moonlight that can be installed on Firefox 6.0.2. Moonlight plugin worked very well with previous versions of Firefex.

Is it correct? When Firefox 6.0.2 will become compatible with Moonlight plugin (or vice-versa)?

On today's morning(06.09.2012) I updated my Flash Player to 11.3.300.257 and then launched Firefox. As soon as a site started to appear in browser, Firefox frozen.

So I launched with all add-ons disabled and managed to confirm that Firefox freezes only when Shockwave Flash plugin is enabled

I tried to uninstall and install Flash Player, tried to mess with plugin container, but nothind helped

For the past six weeks I have been trying to play haf.asx (video/x-ms-asf Object) on firefox but just can't get it working. When ever I go to hymns and favorites eg it try connect then stops, the site keep trying but just won't connect. Why is this so? I have all the plugin needed.
