Currently when I click a link such as a Youtube Video or an Play Store Application, Firefox does not open the link inside of the external application but rather opens the link inside of Firefox. I have tried clearing the defaults in the external apps, such as Youtube and Play Store, and Firefox but the result is the same. This happens on my phone was well as my tablet, I'm running Android 4.2.2 on both devices. I have tried other browsers and they all open the link in the external application or at least ask me what I would like to open the link with.

I switched to Firefox 21 and did the usual run to see if there are clinches, one came in the first run: using flashplayer in youtube to listen music and then opening other flash (in this case Deviantarts picture shuffle) mutes the music instantly and the only way to start the sound is reloading.

This didn't appear in 20, so there's one where 21 is weaker.

I'm trying to upload a ZIP file to my FTP folder with Blackbaud and cannot do so. I've entered all the parameters exactly as instructed by Blackbaud and all connections look good but when I go to transfer the file, I get the following message: "Expected handle: /users/B67E610BAA01/"H:\Downloads\BUMFS RE7 Database.zip" "BUMFS RE7 Database.zip"." All I can do is click "OK" and nothing happens other than seeing a repeated loop in the log that alternates between "noop" and "ok."

I have a bookmarks folder containing a few websites I like to visit regularly. When I want to open all of these websites at once I open the bookmark folder, scroll to the bottom of the folder and click "Open All in Tabs". This opens *and* loads all of the bookmarks contained in that folder simultaneously.

I'd like to change it so instead of the tabs opening *and* loading simultaneously, they open simultaneously but *wait* to be clicked before loading.

The desired behaviour can be demonstrated when you restart Firefox with a few tabs open, but only the current tab loads after restart, with the others waiting in the tab bar to be clicked before loading.

Any advice is appreciated.

Just what the line above says. Im trying to use TOR and cant do so without downloading the Proxy Mobile add-on. Any advice on hoe to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Since we started serving our js and css through CloudFront a few weeks ago, we started seeing a problem with Firefox, where those assets sometimes wouldn't load.

So far, the only way I was able to reproduce the issue was to load our homepage in the afternoon, not closing my browser and then refreshing the page the next morning. I know this is rather extreme, but some of our clients reported this issue which means that it happens in real life scenarios as well. We were able to reproduce it on Windows and OSX from our office in NYC and Krakow, Poland.

I used Firebug to track this problem down and it looks like Firefox is ignoring the TTL on DNS requests when looking up urls and caches them almost indefinitely. Due to the constant rotation of the CloudFront servers, after enough time the server at the cached IP stops responding and all requests are being dropped (aborted requests on the screenshots). Does this sound like a plausible explanation? Did anyone have the same issue and has a solution for it?

I am browsing certain websites using Firefox's "Private Mode". Unfortunately, some of these sites are riddled with ads. Normally I use Adblock Plus to block these offensive ads, but it appears that Adblock Plus is disabled when I enter Private Mode.

How can I enable addons like Adblock Plus while I am in Firefox's Private Mode?

Firefox version 21.0 on Mac 10.8.3 does not display applet's jpopupmenu correctly. The menu is display way off from the specify x,y coordinates. However Firefox version 20.0 works as expected.

I get a complete crash when a tab containing a "sampler2d" source texture is displayed in the webGL app I write code for and use. The same app runs fine in windows 7 firefox v21, and in linux chrome.

Can I regress back a version of firefox so that I can work?

A previous version of firefox added a little gap above the tabs when in full screen mode. This prevented the toolbar from appearing when moving the cursor over the tabs. However, in recent versions, this "gap" has been removed. So now, when I try to change tabs my moving my mouse to the top of the screen, the menu bar appears, delaying the process of changing tabs.

It's really annoying - I don't know why this feature was removed.

(This may be particular to firefox on OS X)

Hi. I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with firefox 21.0.

Say I have a local .html file, test.html, in my home directory, which I want to add to the bookmarks menu.. - First I use "Open File" and then choose the file from file selection dialog, - Then I press CTRL+D to save the bookmark - Then I move to the bookmarks side bar, and right click on the bookmark, and choose "Properties" - From the dialog I can see that the location of the file is "file:///home/fcihh/test.html" where "/home/fcihh/" is my home directory.

The problem is that it uses an absolute path to the home directory. My case, is that I have two machines that share the same bookmarks, but the absolute path to the home directory is different for each machine. Hence I would like to use a relative path to the file such that the bookmark can be used on either machine..

I have tried replacing "/home/fcihh" with a tilde "~" but that does not work.. (The tilde is removed automatically when I save the change..)

I was using Firefox OS for some time but now I guess the standard is Mercury. I successfully synched my desktop and iPhone. But I wanted to update and clicked sync, but it didn't work and I was asked to input the 12-character code. I did so and it wouldn't sync.

In Preferences, I have "Clear history when Firefox closes" checked and in Settings I have "Saved Passwords" unchecked.

Deciding to reset everything, I deleted my paired device and started from scratch, but when I entered my Account, Password and Sync Key it came up with an error message for the "Secret word(?)". I double checked to ensure I was entering the information correctly.

Now I'm stuck.

I followed the "Using the Mozilla symbol server" article in order to see symbols for Firefox in a debugger. But i still only get those "firefox.exe+1a05" entries, instead of "firefox.exe+Sleep" for example. All windows symbols work, but I never got any Firefox symbols to show up. My idea now is that the Mozilla symbol server is not up to date. Can someone help me?

HTC Evo 4G. Firefox mobile browser 20.0.1

Using Firefox browser, if I am at a website and press "Menu" on my phone I have the "Bookmark" option. Pressing it I get "Bookmark added" message.

But then when I press "Menu", it gives me the "Bookmark" option still (i.e., add a Bookmark), but it does not show me any of the Bookmarks which I have created.

Are "Top sites" my bookmarks?

I'm ready to go back to the stock Android browser if this and one other problem cannot be resolved with Firefox.

The other issue is that I press the Firefox icon on my home screen, and the browser initializes.

The address bar says "Enter Search or Address". I press the address bar, and it now says "about:home", and the letters are white covered in orange.

But there is no keyboard.

I want to type an address in the address bar, but I cannot.

Pressing "Menu" on my phone does not give me a "Keyboard" option.

Below the address bar is listed horizontally "Top sites", "Bookmarks", and "History". But no Qwerty keyboard.

NOTE - During the time I've been typing this, a QWERTY keyboard finally appeared.

But I want to see one at once, when I press the address bar and it turns orange over the address bar writing.

Why don't I see a keyboard?

I will go back to the stock EVO browser if these problems can't be solved.

I press the address bar at the top, and it turns orange. But I do not get a keyboard. Pressing menu, I also do not get a keyboard.

With the stock HTC EVO ANDROID browser, if I touch the address bar a keyboard appears. If I press "Menu", I get "Add Bookmark" but also "Bookmarks" (my existing bookmarks).

This is wasting a great deal of time. Please help - I prefer to use Firefox, but it is unacceptable currently.

I have to use java 1.6 instead of java 1.7 on mozilla. I can't uninstall 1.7 java because it is needed for different application. Ho I can force Firefox to use java 1.6 instead of java 1.7

Yesterday, I bought a new Samsung Series 5 with Windows 8. I installed Mozilla Firefox 21.0, but started having a problem with it. Every 30 minutes or about 20 webpages, I have to clear the cache for a page to display properly, otherwise they will display with text to the left of the screen and with Times New Roman font.

- I have Avast! 8, but I do not think it is causing the problem. - I am 100% it is not a virus/malware. - I checked my plug-ins in Mozilla. None of them seem to be causing the problem. - It is a Mozilla Firefox only problem. (I am not having this problem in Chrome). - CTRL + F5 solves the problem, but I do not want to have to click that every single webpage I go to. - I have tried the Mozilla Firefox Reset. It did not fix the problem.

As it is preventing access to Facebook desktop as well as desktop emails. Occasionally I get a message from MyMemova stating that my connection has timed out. All this when I don't have a mobile to connect with!

I can connect to Thunderbird and receive email. However, I cannot send emails. When I press send (either from replying to an email or entering an email address manually) I get the following error message:

Sending of message failed. No sender specified. Please fill in your email address in the Mail & Newsgroup Account settings.

When I click on the menu option within the email message Tools/Mail & Newsgroup, the message minimises and the programme returns me to my inbox. There is no Mail & Newsgroup setting on the mail programme.

Every time I use Firefox 21.0 it causes Android to lock up and I must remove the battery from my phone. Also when I rotate my phone to landscape mode the screen display becomes distorted and unreadable.
