This was happening in the beta so i uninstalled and installed V21 and i still get a blank page when following links from google+ This does not happen when i use chrome or the built in browser. Am a real chrome fan but after trying firefox again would like to convert but this problem is a bit of a deal breaker.

Firefox v20.0.1, Win7 32 bit. This web page ( http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/5336 ) does not display the "flowchart"image at the bottom of the page immediately following the text "The following is a map of other documents..." On a correctly working page, the image is a flowchart "navigation" image that opens new pages depending on where you click on it. In firefox only a box with an ftp path to the image is displayed in its place. I have seen the problem on other web pages as well.

Actions taken: The pages displays correctly in IE v10. This problem happens on one computer. Different computer, same firefox version displays correctly. Different computer older firefox version (v17?) displays correctly.

• I have tried disabling all plug-ins and extensions.
• I have created a new profile. Seems like the first time I did this, the page displayed correctly, but when I refreshed (F5) the image is gone and the ftp path box is displayed. Subsequently created new profiles do not display the page correctly.
• I have tried resetting Firefox and the page still is not displayed correctly.

Troubleshooting: Ctrl-shif-K, opened the Web Console, cleared the console output, refreshed the page by pressing Ctrl-F5. The following is several lines following the first error on the console:

I have disabled all add-on's yet I still can not get http://www.dxmaps.com to load. It loads on Google Chrome and IE just fine. I believe it is related to the 'allow reload' feature. It doesn't matter if I disable the ALLOW it won't load. If I click on the Allow just keeps popping up and still never loads the maps. I hate to go to Chrome just because this can't be turned off for a specific site.

Please fix it!

Windows 7 64bit, 2.9gig AMD dual core, 8gig ram

Ive tried defaulting fonts, unchecked all blocked images, reset firefox and removed all mods and still cant display bbc weather maps without getting "sorry, background map image is missing".

It used to be fine. Now no matter what I do, it has missing images.

Any fix please?

After upgrading to FF 21, search engines no longer appear in the bar on the top right of screen, so no searches are possible. I can navigate to my bookmarks and apparently also to links contained in emails.

If I right-click on the FF icon, and choose the "run as administrator " option, the search engines are there again. I tried deleting the parent.lock file from the profiles folder, as this solution had solved a problem I'd had recently with the previous version of FF (not being able to open FF, and getting the error message about another version of it running, which had to be closed first - but there was no other version running. In that case, too, before finding out about the solution, I was able to open FF by using the "run as administrator" option). However deleting the parent.lock file didn't solve this problem.

I'd be grateful for your help, especially if put in simple terms a not hugely computer-literate person like myself can understand!

Recently parts of the text but not all the text on a webpage has started to blur or distort. Sometimes this distortion moves to the right. If i hover my mouse over the distortion or scroll the page it disappears. This is especially annoying on Facebook ect. I have not noticed this problem in IE or Chome but i havn't used either for prolonged periods to be honest. It's hard to test what causes it because the problem is intermittent, Facebook is affected the worst but have had this problem on other websites including this form and even in the Addon menu.

I have tried, running in safe mode, disabling plugins and clearing the cache none of which have solved the problem.

I set my home page to MSN and I used to get the "normal" MSN page with graphics, pictures and news print. Firefox changed my MSN home page to a "list" view that shows just links, no pictures (or very few) and no print to read the news. How can I get Firefox to recognize a normal MSN page?

This webpage https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thumbnails-on-new-tab-page-are-missing does not fix my problem. Anyone know how to get all your website "tabs" images to show on the new tab page?

My Firefox crashes when trying to open 75% of web pages. I get the windows standard "Firefox is not responding" window after it freezes while trying to load the page.

I have singled out the problem to be the Shockwave Flash (11.5.502.149) plugin as everything works correctly with this disabled.

I have tried updated flash, uninstalling and re-installing it and the same with FF but nothing seems to work so far.

Please see this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/936004. The last two posts indicate that someone said that installing the latest version of SW Flash solved the problem and someone responded that it didn't work for them. Then the thread was closed.

I have had SW Flash disabled for a long time now because of the problem. So, I installed the latest version, enabled it, and the problem still exists (I also have FF v20).

I don't know what causes the problem. Mozilla has been completely mum on the issue, i.e., they don't appear to even acknowledge it is a bug (I don't care whether it's FF's problem or Adobe's or both - I experience it in FF).

For those of you who don't want to read the other thread, here's a summary of the problem. If you open a new window in FF, it sometimes (usually?) doesn't focus on the new window but opens it and switches the focus back to the first window. It happens on the right-click menu. It happens sometimes when you just click on a link. It even happens just by typing in a URL in the address window. The only thing that eliminates the problem is to disable SW Flash.

I get over 10 Script error messages per day telling me that "an error has occurred in the script on this page" from websites I have not visited. This is the one just now:

every time, and i mean EVERY TIME i enable flash on firefox 20 running windows 8 it freezes. i disable it and all is fine, i enable it and FF freezes and is totally unresponsive. i have tried everything, running ff in safe mode, totally uninstalling both flash and firefox, nothing works. chrome works fine using it, any suggestions?

Within the last couple days, Firefox has had a lot of problems.

When I open it, the window hangs and freezes after a few seconds, if it opens at all. Other times, trying to open Firefox simply won't open the window, but will leave an extra process running in the background that I have to manually shut down via Task Manager.

I have made a fresh profile. I have restarted Firefox. I previously had hardware acceleration checked, and disabled it; still having the same problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox multiple times. I have run a scan of my system with Malwarebytes; nothing detected. It's not even generating a crash log. I have looked through the support forums, found people with problems similar to mine, but no solutions posted for them since sometime last month.

Firefox seems to run normally if do an install of version 21, which opens up the browser window. Everything works fine, until I close the browser and then re-open it.

After I upgrade to Firefox 21, I also upgraded to Flash Player 11. Now when I start Firefox it hangs up before it opens any site. I can only close it using task manager. When I uninstall Flash Player, Firefox works fine. I tried installing an older version of Flash, and that didn't work either. Windows 7.
