Firefox doesn't open, though it opens once in a while. It shows in task manager and takes up 50% CPU usage, and ending process and retrying doesn't work. Profile manager doesn't open either. There's no error message, and have restarted laptop (Windows XP) many times, but no results.

Help would be appreciated!

Прошу простить меня за вопрос, не относящийся только к фф, но вы последняя надежда. Уже более полугода мучаюсь. Вышеуказанные сайты грузятся раз через 10 (в 9 случаях из 10 получаю уведомление "Соединение было сброшено").

Вины провайдера (МТС коннект 3G) в том нет - пробовал на другой машине с тем же модемом и все работает. Другие браузеры так же отказались грузить эти сайты (Опера, Хром, IE). Грузит их только TOR. 
Файл Hosts чист, антивирус - Nod 32 Eset Smart Security 6. Фаервол не мешает (отключал, добавил сайты в список исключений), да и вообще антивирус тут не при чем (вчера переустанавливал систему - так проблема возникла еще до установки последнего). Брандмауэр отключен (Windows XP SP3, 32). Бана моей подсети на сайте нет - узнавал. Сайты работают у других, без сомнений. Вирусов нет (проверял уже чем угодно...AVZ, Nod, Antimalware, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool). Трассировка идет нормально (иногда бывают потери на конечном хосте). Прямой ввод ip сфйта в адресную строку не принес результата.

My homepage is my.yahoo.com. When starting FF the homepage tab appears PLUS an additional New Tab. Any ideas on how I get just the homepage at start-up? (prevent FF from opening the additional New Tab)

Why can't I long onto to MoodleRooms through the Henry Ford Community College website link. I have an online class and I can't get in. I have logged on to this site on four different laptops, one including a public library and it's still not letting me log in. I thought it was my old laptop, but bought a brand new one two hours ago, and it's still not allowing me to log on. I can access all other links to other online classes through Ucompass link but not Moodlerooms.Please Help!

I accidentally clicked 'forget about this site' and I'm looking for a way to undo this. I've heard there is no way to recover the history from a particular site once it has been deleted, but surely it leaves some kind of record in the system? I read an article that suggested running the 'system restore' feature which gives me the option of 'restoring my computer to an earlier time' before certain changes were made. Would this work?

I am a selenium tester and my test fails on moxila due to following issue, Value property not getting updated for edit on firefox thats why failing the script while identifying the object from xPath. The test case run fine on IE. I want to identify the object by its xPath saying value = "Some value" I can not check thousands of object by looking in to its value attribute property.

I am still on Firefox v. 11. I have installed later versions, and reverted back to v. 11, because all the later versions did not allow me to copy and paste images/pictures from emails. Did Firefox correct this problem definitively in their latest version?

I just installed the latest version of Firefox and now I'm facing a new problem. When I try to open a new tab I have to double click on top bar and it's annoying me. I used to open a new tab by clicking on an icon next to any tab and now that icon is moved to the right corner at the top, and it appears there is no way to open a new tab except by double click at the top! How can I return this icon to previous place to open a new tab just by one click. Thank You

The Distro I am using is Linux Mint 10 (julia) Kernel Linux 2.6.35-22 generic GNOME 2.32.0 It is an Old computer Intel Celeron CPU 2.4 GHz Memory 748 MB I am using Firefox 11.0 Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 1.0

Firefox was running fine and I had no problem until about 3 weeks ago. Now unfortunately each time I close Firefox I get a crash report. After the crash report is sent Firefox then closes.

When I login to my website www.xowned.com and when I try to enter with username and password everything is working well in win xp but it does not show me my admin links in windows7.

I tried Reinstalling and installing firefox but this is not working in windows 7 can anybody help me pls. Works fine in Internet Explorer 8 and Chrome

I use the Installer exe. from Adobe for Flash Player,latest version.When installation window comes up,it says Flash Player will start installation when Mozilla/Firefox browser is closed.It IS closed,nothing is open but installer will not start..installer will continue when conflicting apps are closed..Mozilla Firefox.Im no computer genius but I know when browser is closed,or I thought I did..HELP!!

Hi FireFox support, We are developing a web application with javascript, we use firefox as our default browser for our users.

Now we met a problem when we use window.open in our application.

In our application, we need to open new page in a new browser tab, we used code : window.open('http://ourUrl.com', '_blank');

The action of the browser is different according when this line of code is executed.

situation1: user clicked a button, the click event will trigger our js function, in this function, execute this line of code directly, then the browser may open the page in a new browser tab. (this is what we wanted.)

situation2: user clicked a button, we firstly submit the data on page to our server, and in the callback function, we execute this line of code, it may pop an independent new window without tool bar.(this is not what we wanted).

I don't understand why the action of browser is different, can you help to explain? Thanks.

When i double click on my firefox browser a warning comes up that the latest version of firefox cannot finish downloading as a version of firefox seems to be running and i need to close it down.However i don't understand if some version is running or where to shut it down. Further i recently ,on double clicking the firefox browser,got another window, after closing the warning in the first paragraph above,about PLUG INS that will not go away.So, i uninstalled the JAVA and QUICK TIME plugins that it said were "out of date" and attempted to update the ADOBE plug in that was also indicating it was out of date.I completed all the updating steps for ADOBE however the PLUG INS window still returns(without JAVA and QUICK TIME as they were uninstalled)saying ADOBE requires updating even though i did that.What can i do???
