This "Untrusted Connection" thing is god-damned annoying. Websites that I've been using for YEARS... all of a sudden are "untrusted." I don't ***-**** care. How do I turn this feature off?

When connecting to my local router's configuraton webpage, I get a "Secure Connection Failed" Error message. "The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified." No SSL error is shown, so I am unable to track it further. I just did a full distribution upgrade but it appears that Seamonkey also exhibits this behavior as well. Restarting safe mode did nothing, so I am at a loss.

Everytime I get into Firefox, there is a grey bored that goes around the inside of my web page. It would be around 1cm thick and I don't know how to get rid of it. It has only just appeared within the last few weeks. It is very frustrating.

I have a somewhat older laptop running an Nvidia-based GeForece 440 Go 64 graphics card.

Using about:support to analyze FF's performance, it shows hardware acceleration was "0/1. Blocked for your graphics driver version."

What can I do to get this acceleration working? There are no more recent driver versions available. Will this be resolved with older versions of FireFox? (I'm only running 10 on this machine, anyway, as I never did buy into the whole "rapid release" approach)

I am currently running icewaesel on debian 7. I am using speech synthesis. For some reason while in Iceweasel I hear a repetitive beeping noise and it is driving me mad. How do I stop this beeping noise?

When I click on a link on a page, the page I am going to loads, but the address bar doesn't change. The address bar properly updates if I switch tabs and switch back, however. I am pretty sure that this is not due to my addons, because my friend, who uses about the same version of Firefox but no addons also has this problem.

From the bookmark toolbar I can't sign out using the Yahoo "sign out" icon anymore. Deleting cache & cookies didn't help. I always use my own PC. Any help is appreciated. Thanx.

How do I view an email message source? Someone sent me an email showing my email as the sender. If I try to block the sender I am afraid I will be blocking myself. I am also afraid that whoever sent that email will send to all of the email addresses in my address book. the people I know will think that the email came from me when it came from someone using my address I.D. How or what should I do?

When i search for something on Google Maps, it will zoom to the proper location. However, the orange location arrow does not appear. There is a moment where i can see a broken image icon, but it disappears very quickly. This occurs when i search for businesses as well. Usually you see listings with A, B, C, etc. listed. These icons do not appear.

Upgraded from FF3.6.28( had no problems with 1100T) and now FF10.0.2 keeps closing or crashes. Identified the problem to be more than 4 core processors with FF. I have developed a workaround, but would like know what FF release fixes this issue ?

Too long I've had to suffer because some dumb idiot wanted to hardcode mouse 4 5 to broswer back and forward. Too long there have been half-ass fixes like 'run another program', and 'just use a different key'. Too long has this problem gone unfixed. Well, I want to know WHY?! Why is this hardcoded? And what's with this 'run another program to fix it crap'?! You would think since it's been a problem for a while that it would just be hardcoded as an 'option'... So WHY?

When I try to download the newest version of Firefox, I get a message saying that Firefox needs and "item not in use". It doesn't identify the item. How do I find and get the right item?

It won't let me right-click to move. Clicking on it only brings up a balloon, which makes things worse.

The McAfee box is in the upper right corner, right next to the "minimize" icon. As I open new tabs, they move BEHIND the McAfee box, so I can't close them.

since one of firefox greatnesses is the vast addons number it has, i think many users need (like me) an easy certain way to tell if the next version you're about to upgrade will break come of your addons. yes, i've tried "is it compatibile" addon, and found it not reliable, unfortunately (right now on my ff 10.x esr it reports "update scanner" and "firebug" compatibile 5.0-14.0, both... i thought i would prefer a list so i struggled a bit more and also found this page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/compatibility

that at first seems a perfect way to easly check addons compatibility, also because you can set a specific ff versions, perfect! but... 1) really can't understand what are the meaning of those "95% of this and that" and what usefulness, apart from statistics useful just to internal developers, that could have with addons users 2) can't understand why its 500+ pages list is not searchable, sortable, categoryzable, filtrable nothing, you have to browse hundreds of pages... apparently sorted in "users using this addon" count, descending

what would really make addons users (so all ff users) happy is a page similar to that but with some way for users to sort, restrict, search the list to have a fast and easy to understand way to check their addons compatibility, once and for all, and also for different ff versions, somethng that coul easily say "yes" or "no". If such a page could be incorporated in the ff addon config window in some way, it would be perfect. It is similar to what "it is compatible" addon should probably do, perhaps, but it would be much much clearer and because of that, better. And, if one could find there also some alternatives suggested when an addon is not compatible, that would be ideal, really.

i'm postponing my 10.x esr to 17.x esr upgrade since weeks, just because i use many addons for my work and i don't wont to miss some critical addons. iìm pretty sure may users would love this.

don't take this as a harsh comment i love mozilla just for existing, i just want it to be closer to perfect  :-D

I only see a search engine bar on the Navigation toolbar. But if I want to go straight to a website without going through a search engine, which takes an extra step, how do I do it?

I am with window 7 M/C and wherever i unlocked the system after more then 10-15 min...in that case whatever pre-open site not responding.even in same session i am not able to open new site. I have to be close firefox and then need to open the site.

Having a problem re-installing Adobe Flash Plugin'. Error message says "Directory name is invalid", Mozilla support says re-initialing the plugin database may fix the problem. I have the printed directions to do this in front of me, but I'm stuck because first it says "Open the profile folder" and I literally don't know where this is located? (I see it's got to contain a Firefox window). I guess I've got to be walked through this a little.

I upgraded to firefox 17.0.3 from 10.0.1 as root. Now, when I start firefox as root, it runs v.17.0.3, but my normal user accounts run v.10.0.1. I am not using profiles and can find only one version of the binary on my system (/usr/bin/firefox & /usr/lib/firefox/firefox) under all accounts I did a reset of my profiles, and even deleted the whole .mozilla directory under home dir, but still no luck
