Realplayer download feature (cursor over a youtube video, "download this video" pops up) has recently quit working for me (I've been using it for months). I've searched knowledge bases and forums extensively and tried all the suggestions., such as rolling back from Flash Player 11.5 to 10.3 (no luck), disabling/enabling RealPlayer Download plugin in Firefox (no luck), etc. The one suggestion I'd like to try but can't is going into RealPlayer preferences and enabling/disabling the "Download and Record" function. I can't because all I have in my preferences is "Recording" and the options have nothing to do with downloading. None of the RealNetworks/RealPlayer support sites are helpful at all...

However, the download feature works just fine in Internet Explorer

facebook was working fine now suddenly I get this stuff about them not using a trusted security certificate and firefox won't open the site AT ALL! :(

This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect

securely to www.facebook.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,

sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

         What Should I Do?

           If you usually connect to

this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

www.facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. The certificate is only valid for FF

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

The Issue.... Coupons.com plugin disapeared after upgrading FF to v21 (from FF Help Menu>About) I then was prompted to install the plugin when i went to print a coupon from coupons.com... the installation shows it succeeds with no issues, however the plugin is still not showing in the plugin list, and of course coupons don't print (You are prompted by coupons.com to download the plugin...over and over again)

How it happened..... I almost never reboot the PC. Before today everything was working fine. I didn't reboot PC, but decided to upgrade FF to latest version (previous was 20.something)... because i was getting a really long (and context insensitive menu when right clicking anything).

The upgrade appeared to run flawlessly, but then the issue with coupons.com became apparent, and upon a quick look in about:plugins, i noticed the coupon.com (coupon printer) plugin is no longer there....

I closed all browsers, uninstalled the Coupons.com plugin (from Add/Remove programs), and verified that Internet Explorer can't print coupons anymore from coupons.com. Then i reinstalled the plugin (from coupons.com) and Internet Explorer was once again able to print coupons. This means the plugin is being installed on the PC, and while Internet Explorer works, Firefox doesn't (since this version 21)

Is the latest Java 7 update 17 safe to enable now? I noticed after updating, it was still disabled, but no longer blocked in red by Firefox. My assumption is that it's safe, since not "in the red" currently. However, I'd like to be sure before I re-enable it. Thanks!

I was having issues with Videos playing so figured I had to update my Flashplayer, but when I tried to update it kept failing to install and on the Control Panel for Windows XP I clicked on the Flashplayer Icon and went to the Advanced Tab and it states that there are no ActiveX Control installed but I know I have ActiveX version 10 installed due to some Games I have installed on the PC. So I was wondering how FireFox worked with or around the ActiveX Controls. This is for my piece of mind and future reference as I do all my own Tech Support for my PC and am self taught through trial and error about XP. Am running an Intel Celeron processor, 697MHz with XP Service Pack 3, FireFox 12.0, 192MB of SD RAM. Yeah it's old but it works for what I do. LOL Anyway any info on this would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance Craig

Ever since my Hotmail account was upgraded to Outlook, the file attachment button doesn't work. The arrow doesn't even turn into a hand - it's as if Firefox doesn't even see it. It works fine in IE, but I prefer to use Firefox. I have seen various people offering solutions such as getting the latest version of Silverlight or disabling it, removing Adblocker and installing Webmail Adblocker instead. I have tried all these options and nothing works.

Surely this is an issue with Firefox that needs to be resolved. Until then I would like a work around solution.

Before I successfully installed the newest update for Java, whenever I went into the control panel I was able to see the Java thumb nail along with the other controls. After the update, I restarted my computer, went into the control panel and the thumb nail picture of Java was missing. I went into Java.com and had them check my computer for the latest download and it said it was downloaded successfully along with the new version which is SE7 U21 10.21.2.11. I checked the plugins through Mozilla tools and it is up to date. So, my question is, why isn't it showing in the control panel, and what has to be done to fix it? Thank you so much for your help.
