Why does nothing work now that I loaded the newest version of Firefox?
Why is it everytime I upload the newest version of your browser everything goes to shit?
Nothing on the internet works. My e-mail won't fully load, pandora won't work properly, adobe doesn't work properly, I can't access certain websites I try to get onto when applying for jobs, and this gets worse each time you update your software.

Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you.
Appreciate the effort, but doesn't fix a damn thing.
Read it, done it, and get the same result.
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
- Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
- After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
- Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you!
Done it and just like with your prior response the result was the same old shit.
Re-installing no help, re-set no help. The only thing that ever works is to go find the oldest version of the Firefox I can on the internet and loading that and magically the problems go away.
Except that I then continually get badgered by Mozilla to load their "newest and best" version of Firefox which doesn't work with anything while the oldest version works with everything.
My browser was updated today and well not only didn't things work, but when I reset it caused my computer to crash and deleted my profile, bookmarks and pocket....and also to add insult to injury I lost all of that data and now am starting from scratch. Just when things work nicely you have to bring out the "newest and best" which is shit to be honest. I am pissed beyond imagination and have spent hours trying to get back the data which apparently is now lost for good. Thanks for nothing!!!
I might be pretty damn stupid about all of these things, but what i know is that invariably once things seem to be running well you and every other site decide to change formats and things go to shit.
Why is it not possible to leave the fundamentals alone or is this the way we justify jobs on the back side?
My firefox had been running really well lately, but I let it update and restarted my computer this afternoon. What a huge disappointment! Now, nothing works. Mozilla will not let me sign on to my newspaper e-account. Facebook will not download. This stinks! I had to switch to Google Chrome to browse. Hope you people fix this thing soon!
The reset made all the problems worse and again deleted my profile which I had to restore one file at a time from by backup.....I want to scream!!!!
The old standby canned responses are not helping: fresh boot, boot without add-ons, clean install etc... something drastically changed when they upgraded from 22 to 23 and though I know to turn OFF some switches in the config page, it still doesn't help the majority of my sites including banking. OMFG WTF did you guys do now? I can't access 128/256b encrypted banking links in the same window anymore and must choose open in a new tab. The moment I allow that, I am f*cking swamped with pop-ups that circumvent my pop-up blockers, even my ad and tracking blockers don't seem to work properly anymore and on top of all that Grease Monkey scripts are all buggy now. I even tried rolling back to a previous version and re-routing the updater on itself (127.0.0.0), and still it finds a way to update itself to this f*cking crap version from hell.
