Thanks for the link! For those having the same issue - This was a result of the latest Garmin Web Update for me - uninstalled both Garmin products and the issue was resolved.

Can you provide more information about Express Settings? Is this a program you installed recently? Do you know where it came from? Is it a Firefox add-on?

no it just appeared and has slowed down my computer

I'm sorry, I can't visualize it. Is there a pop-up message? Does it appear when you first start Firefox, or after you visit particular pages? Could you possibly post a screenshot showing what you're seeing? This article might help: How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

You can use the MSConfig program or the Autoruns utility to see which software and services are getting started.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Thanks a lot, couldn't find Express Settings but I deleted a few others. It didn't pop up when I rebooted
