how to remove adds that cover the text making it impossible to read the text
when a news article is opened, part way down the article an add is superimposed on the text making it impossible to read the details of the news. Any attempt to remove the add fails with the result of opening the add. How can I block the inclusion of these adds?

These messages might be generated by an add-on. Could you disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized add-ons here:
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins -- particularly "PriceGong"
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions
Then restart Firefox and revisit the problem pages to see whether you've shut it down.
