Why can't I get the MSN home page?
I have tried and tried to get the MSN homepage but it comes up as a blank page. I have no problem with it on Internet Explorer. I can get into my email accounts. I have no problem with Yahoo or My CenturyLink page.

by cor-elTry to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I got the same results starting in safe mode. I even had a tech check it out and he couldn't figure it out either. He said I was the third person with this problem.

As I previously stated I have tried everything. I even had a computer guru check it out. He could find nothing either. He also told me that I am not the only person that has called him concerning this. we tried to start Firefox in "safe" mode and got the same results.
What does the Net log on the Web Console (Web Developer > Web Console;Ctrl+Shift+K) show if you refresh the page via Ctrl+F5?
Is there any content requested and retrieved?
You can also use the Live Http extension to check the requests and responses.

I am having the same problem. Also on centurylink.
The net log displays:
The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol. @ http://www.msn.com/
I have read of other people having this issue today and posting in the Microsoft forums. Still no answer.
