Running FF in 2 different user accounts on my Mac, when I return from one user FF has crashed most of the time.
Running FF 19 on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Running FF in one user account, then I switch to another user account (on my Mac not in the browser). Say I start FF in the 2nd account, then switch back to the 1st account only to find FF has crashed. I restart FF and switch back to the 2nd user. FF has crashed there too. This happens over 90% of the time.

That is a problem with the graphic display driver.
Try to update the graphic display driver.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
