Cannot type anywhere in Firefox. No tech support solutions work, happens randomly and no solution has been found. Sometimes it fixes itself.
A couple of times a month Firefox will stop working properly and I will not be able to type anyhwere. This happens randomly and fixes itself just as randomly after a couple hours usually. I have tried every single tech support solution posted in this community on similar questions... new profiles, disabled add-ons, clean re-install, you name it. Nothing fixes this issue for myself or any other users complaining here. Will no longer be supporting or using Firefox after the piss poor performance these last couple versions.

Have you tried disabling your firewall to see if that may be the cause?

Like I said, I have run through every possible support that Mozilla suggests, including firewalls, anti-virus, yadda yadda. Nothing works.
Do you have multiple keyboard layouts installed?
