Where is the tools bar located

I can not locate the tools bar on the home page. The wrench does not allow me to get to and clear my recent history.

Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the menu bar is hidden.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
