How do I save all my e-mail folders on my own hard drive? (or keep copies)

Posted

Firefox has been putting my older e-mails in TRASH without me asking; so I want to save all my incoming e-mail ON MY HARD DRIVE locally, as backup.

Is this possible?

IGNORE ALL THIS - it is YAHOO!Mail I need to deal with. My Mistake - SORRY !

hello, firefox is just a web-browser - it doesn't handle your emails at all. are you referring to the mozilla thunderbird mail-client or to a webmail provider? in the latter case please contact the support of your mail provider when you're having issues, since firefox has no way of influencing that...

For reference, your email provider is whomever your email address ends with (gmail.com, yahoo.com, aol.com, etc.)
