How to fix issues with with keyboard input on JB?

Posted

Hi,

My firefox stops accepting keyboard input on websites input fields. This happens EVERY time after 1 or 2 visited wbsites. It does not matter what keyboard I use (android native or any market downloadable keyboard). The address bar input works just fine btw.

My os version is JellyBean 4.2.1 and the issue was since JB 4.1. I use ff on all my devices and the sync option is very handy ... but on my tablet and phone I have this issue and I am being forced to use chrome :(

I have seen a lot of people complaining about this. Could you please fix this? I could run some debug versions to help tracking this issue if necessary.

Thanks

We've made a large number of keyboard fixes in Firefox 19, which currently can be found in the Play Store as Firefox Beta.

If all goes smoothly we should have Firefox 19 released on the stable channel Feb-19 mid-day Pacific Time.
