downloading files, firefox adds two boxes to my desktop for each download

One box with the firefox icon, and another box that contains the files. What needs to be changed. Running windows 7

That happens if you save web pages.
You get one main HTML file and a folder that stores the other files like images and CSS and JavaScript files.
