Why does our site load differently in OS X and Windows versions of Firefox?

Posted

We created the site www.paydaystocks.com for people who are looking to trade weekly stock options, covered calls, credit spreads, calendar spreads...etc. For some reason the site loads completely differently in Windows (all OS's) than it does on any version of OS X. You can see what I'm talking about if you pull up the site (www.paydaystocks.com). Notice the spacing differences...

Should we use hacks to work around the issue? Thanks!

Did you check for font issues?

font-family: "Trebuchet MS",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;

You can use this extension to see which fonts are used for text that is selected (right-click context menu: Show fonts in selection).

Actually, it's the light boxes. If you click on one of the links that open in a lightbox, the Windows version of FF shows up fine, but the Mac version opens a window that is severely "crunched" (i.e. it show scroll bars for the side and bottom). Thoughts?
