download software firefox for nokia n9

Helpful replies

ideato, the Nokia N9 is Meego, not Android.

Mozilla no longer supports Meego/Maemo for mobile Firefox as the last for Maemo was Firefox 7.0. I know there are third-party builds for Maemo but not sure about Meego.

It is possible to install Android or even the Firefox OS (Boot to Gecko) on this device if you are willing to take a chance.

It takes some effort but see last reply at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/897974 and solution in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/920450

The answer in the knowledge base is correct to the best of my knowledge. Romaxa maintains the Meego port.
