Sync does not come up in my options in Windows 7 so I can't set up sync
I am using version 3.6.28 in Windows 7. I go to Tools/Options and sync is not one of the options. Everything else shown in the tutorial comes up, but sync does not. Any suggestions of how to set up sync on my computer?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I had done an update before posting my original question. However, I did another check for updates and downloaded a newer version of Firefox. Now I was able to set up sync. I'm surprised that the original update didn't get me the latest version, but grateful that I finally was able to get this to work. Thanks for trying to help. It's nice to not be ignored on a forum.
