Thank you for the reply. I mean check each bookmark to see if it is live or dead. [Does it work or not.]
There used to be several freeware utilities to do this, but they cannot keep up with the speed of Mozilla updates.
Go to answer 1AM-Deadlink (v 4.6) does work now with Firefox 3.0+ versions (with the places.sqlite database), but you can't edit or delete "dead links", or retrieve Favicons. IMO, being able to delete "deadlinks" one-at-a-time or all of them is/was a key feature of Deadlink.

Hi madperson, can I also have that information if any? TIA

Sorry, I received no notice of your PM.
In following your suggestion I came across authors explanation for pulling his program, and wish to concur with his wishes.
It did lead to the program I used years ago, AM-Deadlink, which I'll mention as a general reply. It's now in a new version.
Anyhow, thank you,however belatedly.
Joe

U R so right ! Big disappointment.
You can "Move to Top" and then print them and edit them from "Show all Bookmarks". But it's nowhere near as fast.
