Before the latest update, I used Firefox almost exclusively. Now that the new version has removed, or hidden, my entire Yahoo settings and pages, I can't use Firefox at all.

philipp 4 months ago hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Yesterday, I spoke too soon. Ffox worked fine and I had my mail and everything. Today, it is gone again. I have no clue why if worked yesterday, except that when I opened Ffox this morning it automatically installed updates. I think the updates have screwed it up. Can I go back to an earlier version and undue 18 and all of it's updates?

philipp 4 months ago hello, how to restart firefox into safemode is described in the link i've provided in my prior answer.
other users also had problems with yahoo mail when they were using the ghostery addon - do you have it installed too by any chance? if so, add an exception for yahoo mail: click on the ghostery icon while you're in yahoo's webmail, choose "edit blocking options" & then don't block on this domain...

azfchalfin 4 months ago What is ghostery and how do I know if I have it? I don't see an icon on my desk top. Would it be somewhere else?

philipp 4 months ago you can see if is installed in firefox > addons > extensions.
if it turns out that ghostery is not the problem, you can also try to reset firefox as it is described here: Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems
