My Mozilla does not open (adda) a new TAB at all-when I click + on topof the page. It only happened recently.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You need to update to Firefox 18 IMMEDIATELY, as the version you are using is vulnerable to around a hundred publicly listed security holes. Update Firefox to the latest version
Don't do anything else before you update.
