I need Firefox version 8.0 for Ubuntu Linux.

You shouldn't be using Firefox 8 anymore, as it is 10 versions behind and horribly out of date. Is there a problem in Firefox 18 you are trying to solve?

Doesn't the last Firefox 10.0.12 esr version work on that Ubuntu version?
