lawrencekisuuki 4 months ago Hello Keith,
Please do this for me, Update your adobe Flash player from the adobe website and install it with all your browsers closed. Then uninstall and reinstall Firefox, after check for any update then use it. Should work like a charm.
Thank you.

Tylerdowner 4 months ago This is caused by Norton Confidential. They are releasing a fix soon, so keep checking for updates. You can also disable it if you would like (honestly I'd just uninstall norton and use MSE as your antivirus)

keith57 4 months ago i will not uninstall norton. i just renewed it. however i am considering uninstalling mozzilla since almost every update has conflicts with programs

Tylerdowner 4 months ago Well it isn't Firefox's fault that Norton is poorly designed and coded. This has been an issue that we've tried to get norton to fix for months, and they are only now getting on the ball.
As for your norton, as soon as you can, drop it. It's useless, slow and there are better alternatives for free.

WILLFOX2013 4 months ago No guru here, but, through trial and error I seem to have fixed it.
I reloaded Firefox 18 - didn't do anything.
Reset Firefox (and kept my fingers crossed, hoping that it wouldn't screw something up). That worked, but now my Norton toolbar was gone. Finally located where I could (re) enable Norton toolbar and enabled it.
Fixed it.
But, I am using Norton ID Safe and keep getting asked (although I have previously answered "yes") if I want to turn off system password save.
Oh well!
