I previously downloaded firefox but uninstalled it due to malware problem. After fixing the malware problem with Malwarebytes, I re-downloaded the Firefox 18 setup file. When I click on it, it starts extracting and then a pop up window appears asking whether to install as administrator or as current user. When I say as current user nothing will happen. When i selected administrator, they prompted me for a password but I did not set any password for the administrator account in the first place.

iamjayakumars 5 months ago If your local user then, your not able to install Firefox.
Instead of Administrator account, if you the account with administrator rights, make use of that account.

Mich29 3 weeks ago I cannot reinstall Firefox from your website it gives me username then adminstrator wth password! I've tried every password I've ever used & nothing works! Could someone please tell me how I can download it again from the Mozilla website??? My email is mich29@bajabb.com I uninstalled Firefox because it was giving me so many problems, crashing, freezing, stopped working when I close it! I really liked Firefox & I don't want to go back to IE & I don't like Chrome! So, if there is help--Plzzzzzz?
