When I open Firefox, the page is visually distorted and will not work.

When I open Firefox, the browser page is distorted. Everything is blurred and you can't see where to type in another website address. I have attempted to go to another website and that site appeared blurry and distorted as well. I started having this problem last night and used Safari (I'm a Mac user) instead. However, I tried to use Firefox again this morning and the same thing happened. I have deleted Firefox and reinstalled and it did the same thing when I tried opening it again. I have a screen shot of the issue but do not see an upload option here.
