I'm running Windows 8 (64-bit) and I just updated to Firefox 18.0. Ever since, it just keeps on crashing. Is this a known bug? Please fix this problem.

Regards.

Firefox 18.0 crashes almost every time I close a Tab or Window. Is this what is happening to you?

I had the same problem with Firefox 18.0 crashing every time. I finally disabled my Norton (2010.5.10.1) toolbar in the add-on tab and Firefox has not crashed since doing this. It is an inconvenience not having my Norton toolbar but guess I'll have to deal with it until either Norton or Firefox comes out with a fix. Hope this helps.

stephengaringer : after the update. It crashed a bit like that. (after closing or opening a tab or just after a google research in the home page). But now (i reinstalled it ), it crashed immediately after the opening.

pallen112 : i can't, my Firefox crashed before i can do anything.

Precision : i'm running Windows XP Pro SP 3. Firefox.exe is set in the Windows Firewall exception and the Symantec exception.
