Also I have restarted my computer. The plugins show their name then disabled.

You should be able to go to the add-on menu, click plug-ins, click on the plug-in you want to enable, and click "enable". If this doesn't work, then try clicking on the tools drop down menu in the Add-ons page and click "Reset All Add-ons to Update Automatically

cor-el 4 months ago Try to delete the pluginreg.dat file in the Firefox Profile Folder and maybe addons.sqlite as well to reset the plugin registry databases.

jondi 4 months ago Two plugins are enabled but the remainder are disabled regardless of what I try. All have been enabled and updated but still the problem persists.
Everything was fine under FF17 it is only since the upgrade was applied.
