Bring back the old address bar styles

Posted

On Firefox 17, I have noticed that in the address bar search results, it shows the matches in highlighted text, how do I put the old styles back like it was in the previous versions, where it was with bold and underlined text. Second, the line which separates the results is removed, how to put that back.?.

Your Firefox User Agent indicates that you are running Firefox 3.6.13, not Firefox 17.0.1.

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is messed up by another program that you installed.

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
Then restart Firefox
