How to set custom homepage in firefox mobile

I would like to set the homepage of my firefox mobile (nightly) to an html file on my device

  file:///sdcard/home.html

How can I do that?

That is not possible at this time. Due to technical reasons Firefox starts up with a lightweight Java UI. We don't have html rendering capabilities on start-up.

The "awesome" page is anything but! A home page should not require Java code or any script to load. Any valid URL ought to suffice. That might very well be a .htm page full links to the user's top 6, 8 10 or even 12 favorite site to visit on the Web.

If I can't just have Google.com or about:blank as my home page, a browser is very poorly designed.
