Please, please, please help me find a recovery key. Without it I cannot sync, and your instructions don't work!
I click on the Firefox tab, then "options" and THERE IS NO "Manage Account" and, therefore, NO RECOVERY KEY. Help me, please! Both my computers are Windows: one Win7, one Win8. I've spent hours and hours -- in multiple sessions over a period of months -- trying to solve this.

Please follow the instructions described in this article: How do I set up Firefox Sync?
You shouldn't need the Recovery Key for it.

Thanks, Ibai and cor-el for responsing to my plea for help.
Ibai's response -- in particular his query about syncing two un-synced computers and his observation that I shouldn't need a recovery key -- made me realize that I had registered for some reason or another with Firefox back whenever, and that registration was gumming up the works. Firefox assumed I had previously synced, and now needed to re-synch (I guess). With this realization, I re-registered under another username, and (lo!) I started getting the cues I was expecting.
I'm synced, and am presently exploring the Tile Tabs add-on and totally happy again with Firefox.

Did you ever used Sync in the past and created a Sync account or is this the first time that you use Sync?
