Try disabling "Don't keep Activities" from the Android settings.
- Press the home button
- Press the menu button
- Select settings
- scroll down to the Developer options
- scroll down to "Don't Keep Activities" and uncheck it
I am having this exact same problem too. I am using the latest version of Firefox for Android. I am on a cheapo D2 Pad running Android 4.0.4. I have the ability to type in the web address field. But nothing can be typed into any text input field on a webpage. I tried your suggestion about disabling the "dont keep activities" setting - nope - didn't help. Any other suggestions... or am I just pretty much screwed from being able to use firefox on this device...
Hi nosajpks I unchecked 'do not keep activities' and it worked! Sorry to hear that your device doesn't accept the solution
I have exact same problem and the fix does not help. I cant type in any fields other than the search bar. The browser that came with the agptek tablet works.
