As you can see OS X 10.5 comes with a "needs font" direction and that means that you do not have that font by default.
You see such scripts you need to have language support and have fonts installed to display the characters.

So i downloaded the "aruna font" from the 3rd link you sent (from the top). Unfortunately the font when download only yields the simple English alphabet (when it opens in my finder) . It doesn't seem to change anything, even after restart. I have mac os x 10.5 so this is certainly the problem. I'll look for more fonts...is there a way to update to mac os x 10.6 or something of the nature?
Question owner
OK i figured it out. Thank you very much!
