How do I forward a web page to another person
I often want to forward web pages to friends, and used to be able to do this before I got a new hard drive put in. I used to be able to click an orange cross which opened an email forwarding screen that I filled in, then sent the page. I don't see that now and wonder whether there's something similar I can use. My searches on the web have thusfar been fruitless, and as usual, the Firefox answers don't help. What can you tell me?

by szpinnerThere is a FIREFOX addon, Capture and Email this web page, which does all the work for you when you want to forward a web page to someone. You need only type in which email address you are using and the password for that. It is easy, accurate and very efficient, even sending a copy of what you sent to your own email address.

Self-evident from what I wrote above.
First, open the email client and start a new message. You can highlight the address of the current page in the address bar of Firefox, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into a message. You can do the same for links, except you right-click the link and choose "Copy link location".

Thanks for your reply. I know how to cut and paste and send URLs in an email; what I was hoping to do--what I used to be able to do--was to send the page via a utility that made it unnecessary for me to go to my email client, etc. I'm sure it must be possible, but haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks again for trying.
