FireFox would open my gmail and now it will not; what happened ?

Posted

All at once FF stopped opening my gmail account. I had added a couple of add ons then tried to check my email and got the message: Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. I uninstalled all the add ons and still can not get in my email. The email loads fine in internet explorer. I have cleared history etc. and allowed pop ups and 3rd party cookies. I am running Windows 7 pro
