I can find nothing online to tell me whether migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 8 will cause me significant problems in running FF (latest beta version) with extensions. Is this likely to be a major, minor or non-issue?

Tylerdowner 7 months ago I can't promise on any extensions, they are developed by third-parties, but I'd guess most of them would work. Please note that Firefox does not yet officially support windows 8, so there may be some minor glitches until it does.

cor-el 7 months ago Normal Firefox extensions that do not have binary components should work on any computer platform including Windows 8 unless otherwise stated.
Note that not all extensions may work with the current Firefox 17 beta release or may get broken with a next beta version.
If an extension has binary components then they may need an update to work properly on Windows 8. -
mfjconnors 7 months ago OK; it sounds like its not going to be much of a problem. Thank you for your help.
