Simple question. Is there a download file size limit with various versions of Firefox including the latest (e.g., 2 GB, 4 GB, 8GB,...

Usually the limitation is the Operating System used or the file system on the drive (USB stick!) that poses a limit.
There shouldn't be problems to save large files it the file system supports the file size.

If you have problems then do the usual checks for extensions or anti-virus software that may be blocking files.
