how do i disable safety mode? Whenever I try to watch a youtube video it also says safety mode has blocked it
This video is unavailable with Safety Mode enabled. To view this video, you will need to disable Safety Mode.

This started when...
My dad completly reformated my computer, and redownloaded all my stuff back onto it. I had to download a java to watch media, but now certain videos won't play, and I can't see the comments either

Sounds that there is some content blocking filter active that prevent loading the videos.
That is either software (e.g. Parental controls or security) that runs on the computer or a Firefox extension.
This may actually be a feature on Youtube.
