Websites that I visit on a regular basis- yahoo and other sites- are suddenly accompanied with a gray global icon. I clicked on it to see what it meant since I have never encountered it before and it says - Your connection to this website is not encrypted. Can and how to do I fix this?

In many cases this is simply a change in the way firefox is displaying information.

The current forum is for instance https (secure) you may try using http links but will normally get https.

Another recent change is that most of the default searches from Firefox are now using https instead of http.
