A tab keeps opening that has the following address: http://lp.ilivid.com/?appid=401&subid=KvykCbLlKwDfsO8AAAAAAMRGMwAAAAAAAgAAAAYAAAAAAP8AAAAEDkFbQgAAAAAAnaRKAAAAAACovEQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC3hQAAAAAAAIAAwAAgD8AZkNevzgBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA=,eJzLM4pKdQuyyMvLzQmtrDApMKl0cbMIy0qsMjS3DDOM9CoP1NUFAOROC8Y= It just keeps opening no matter how many times I close the tab. Please advise how to stop this....thank you.

I am also running into this problem. I have run several anti-virus and anti-malware programs which have all run clean. I have also reinstalled Firefox but it showed up again. I am gonna go out on a limb here, but what it seems like it is new exploit found in the Firefox version of adobe flash. Therefore uninstalling and reinstalling flash should be a temporary fix until a patch is released or virus databases get updated. Another note getting adblock might help. My friend runs ad block and we visit the same sites and he has yet to run into this problem.

EDIT: Adblock does indeed stop this problem either because the issue is coming from one of ads on the page and or the script that cause this is being stopped by adbock. Either way if you don't want to deal with this for the time being get adblock.

Your not the only one. This started up for me as well... I'm also getting a tab with a low quality pirate game... But what i do know is the ilivid thing will give you a virus if you download it.

This problem started on my computer this morning when I logged on. I've run scans, restore my system to an earlier date. Ran Rootkit (whatever that does), ran my anti-virus program (AVG), ran spybot and this stills keeps happening but only when I go to one certain site. Others on that site say they are not affected. I hope someone resolves this quite, I can't find lp.ilivid.com on my computer or anything that could be directing my computer to open up a tab there.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I JUST FOUND OUT:

This does not happen when I use Internet Explorer so the problem is somehow with Firefox. Maybe I should disable all the add-ons and see what happens.

I've had this problem as well.

Though I recently used grease monkey to fix a youtube reply button problem, where the reply button wasn't working.

I searched up on youtube what people were saying about this and found a greasemonkey fix for it. It worked for a while, but right as this popup ilivid tab started it didn't work anymore.

Something else to note, I updated my Flash player and for some reason that fixed it for a short while. I went to youtube and it didn't go to the other site.

But then it started again after a while.

I removed the script from grease monkey, but it's still goes on like this.

It might be on the other hand that a specific ad on youtube is responsible. I have seen ads on youtube alert my Norton that they tried to do something with my computer but was removed. It's possible that there is a specific ads on there now that when up and being viewed, does something and is not caught by Norton.

I could be wrong on both accounts, but that's as far as I know.

To fight this right now, I click the stop loading page button right after the video is starting to buff, it prevents other ads from loading. This works, but I don't think I'm up for doing it again and again every time that I wish to view a youtube page.

My conclusion, however limited it is, is that the problem is with the ads on youtube.

I found the answer to this problem on a MS forum.

1.) Open regedit. 2.) Click on EDIT, then FIND. 3.) Type in ilivid and click Find Next. 4.) Once you have found the file listed iLivid in your registry, right click it and select Delete.

Use control panel an uninstall ilivid and all other programs that you or someone else has loaded onto you computer lately. Then use regedit if feel comfortable with it. If you don't you should probably not use regedit as you can really mess up your PC if you delete some of you operating registry. Also you can down load for free wise registry cleaner and disk cleaner that work work well and you can check what it says to delete/clean before you do it. you might want to delete AVG Security too, it causes problems too. Just remember, nothing is free, there is always something there that is going to make them money, tracking cookies, malware causing your PC to go to unwanted web sites where more cookies and malware is installed with out your consent.
