Quicktime files wont play in firefox 13.0.1.

I am trying to view several different websites which use Quicktime, and it won't show any of the QT files. I am getting a missing plugin error. I try to download the plugin and it tells me I have to do a manual install. I just built this computer yesterday so I downloaded the newest Firefox, 13.0.1 and the newest QT 7, so I shouldn't have any problems there, and searching for a QT plugin through Firefox's add-on search nothing comes up. Anyways this is for work and need to figure out soon so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here are some things to check:

  • You might have to restart after installing Quicktime
  • Make sure the plugin is enabled
