How to get normal blank page when open a new tab, using "+"

When open a new tab, using "+", I want Firefox to open blank page. But it shows all my visited websites from browsing history. "Blank page" is with pictures-hyperlinks of those webpages! How to get normal blank page without pictures-hyperlinks of browsing history without deleting all of browsing history?

click on the "hide the new tab page" button on the top right corner of the page

You can also change the browser.newtab.url pref to about:blank to get a new tab with a blank page with the browser.newtabpage.enabled pref set to true.
