I can't find any of the add-ons that will be disabled when I update to Firefox 11.0
I got a message from the installer that four of my extensions will be disabled when I install Firefox 11.0. I tried to find these extension updates, but couldn't.
Chosen Solution
The XULRunner extension is considered as malware, so you probably better should remove that extension from your current setup.
Java Console extensions also aren't needed.
You only need the Java Console extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) if you want to check and debug Java applets.
You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

There should be an update for the Norton toolbar that is compatible with Firefox 11 (don't know about Firefox 12 that will be released one of the next days, probably tomorrow, for some limited users.

Which extensions are you referring to?
There may be updated versions available for Firefox 4+ versions under a different entry on the Add-ons site.
I didn't see anything specific to Firefox 4+ on the Add-ons site. The extensions I'm concerned about are: XULRunner, Symantec Intrusion Prevention, Norton Toolbar, Java Console and Microsoft .NET Frame Assistant.
I had nothing to do with originally installing these extensions. They are just there in my current version of Firefox 3.6.28. That's why I'm a bit at sea when faced with the prospect of having these disabled by installing Firefox 11.0 and trying to find the latest versions.

Ok, thanks. I can probably get support on the Symantec/Norton extensions by calling Comcast support for the Norton Security Suite, which Comcast supplies free to High Speed Internet users. It was this software that originally installed the extensions.
What about Microsoft .NET Frame Assistant? Is this important?
I'm running out of time tonight and will have to power down the computer soon. So I'm going to close Firefox and start it back up, which is supposed to automatically install Firefox 11.0. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll still have a working browser.
Modified
Ok, awesome! I installed Firefox 11.0 and it came up with a dialog box during the install with checkboxes for the disabled extensions, allowing me to automatically update the ones I wanted to re-enable. I kept XULRunner disabled.
Everything seems to be working fine. All my tabs, bookmarks and history are intact and I can surf to new pages (*very* fast!)
My Norton Toolbar is back and so is Symantec Intrusion Prevention. The only extension that is still disabled is Microsoft .NET Frame Assistant. It didn't seem to update properly.
Phew! I'm glad this ordeal is over.
