Since Firefox latest update, pictures/images not loading on some webpages
Have tried running without extenstions/add-ons, have not personalized with a theme (default theme in use), unistalled and re-installed Mozilla. Tried unchecking the Hardware Accelerator, also, to no avail.
Same webpages load fine in other browsers, so did not believe the graphics driver/card to be the issue.
Items missing from web-pages are always pictures or images (i.e. command buttons within email or buttons for navigating through picture files, etc.)
Chosen solution
by cor-elMake sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

Installed AVG security the same day as Firefox updated. Worked with an AVG tech and checked everything that might be causing an issue via that route - AVG internet security runs when other browsers utilized, and they work fine...
Love my Firefox and don't want to use something else, but cannot figure out why images/pictures aren't loading!
Question owner
Only item from all suggestions that I have not done is to Uninstall Windows Presentation Foundation.
Sorry I forgot to mention, I did all the items in the Images or animations don't show up a few days ago -
Question owner
Just checked all the plug-ins again - no change. Additional Info: at yahoo.com, the advertisement to the right shows picture/flash media, etc., but the pictures for the 'top news stories' scroller do not show, nor do the images for the buttons to <>, etc.
Double-checked all add-ons, plug-ins - does not solve problem

Tried to update Adobe Flash player, but first it said to close Mozilla (it was closed), then it said, "can't connect to reliable source" - Will get that done and check back - have to be away from computer for awhile, will let you know as soon as done and thanks for all the help!

Now try Updating your Plugins using the previous 2 links. Check and tell if its working.

All plug-ins/add-ons double checked, disabled if not used, updated if used. All options checked - Yahoo and other sites (kohls, walmart, most shopping sites) load but pictures of items, news stories and buttons that contain images still do not show up in Firefox - but do in IE.
Went back through all suggestions in the above listed replies - had followed these links originally before posting question, but did go back through and made sure I had followed all of them. Only suggestion not followed was regarding the graphics card/driver, as nothing seems affected but pictures in Firefox
